1. Using Active Learning Approaches in Teaching and Facilitating
How do we engage learning participants, motivate them, and get them involved in learning in a technologically short attention span era.  This one to two day workshop for instructors/facilitators focuses on understanding and using a variety of active learning strategies.  This very active workshop covers the strategies of using active learning and  practice using  these approaches.  No more death by information slides or lectures!
2. Helping Learners Retain Knowledge Adult learners retain information best when they scaffold or build on previous knowledge or find links to attach their new learnings.  How do you help learners do this? A one to two day workshop that provides facilitators and instructors with skills to help learners build and retain their learnings.
3. Leadership Basics This two day workshop focuses on leadership basics. Respectful communication skills, role modelling, mentoring and leadership through empowerment and collaboration are the focus in this workshop.  Critical reflection and ongoing assessment of your leadership skills and modelling integrity as a leader are also key elements in this empowering and practical skills oriented workshop.
4. People Skills in Busy Workplaces In busy environments it’s easy to let effective communication slide.  This two day communications workshop focuses on verbal communication, non verbal communication, building trust and collaboration and good working relationships among staff.   Practical skills are emphasized in this two day workshop.
5. Respect and Trust in the Workplace What contributes to respectful behavior in the workplace and how do you develop a culture in your workplace where professionalism and respect flourish? This one to two day workshop focuses on developing effective communications skills, creating an atmosphere of trust and cooperation and building a work environment, that is respectful and productive.
